WELCOME TO PROJECT TRIANGLE

Project TRIANGLE (or PYRAMIDS as a possible work name) is a collab project that seeks to bring in various visionary artists to create a limited run of collectibles within the NFT space and seeks a noble charity to contribute to. (suggestions more than welcome!)

The main idea is to create pieces of artwork within a set framework. The artworks themself can be collabs between members and standalone pieces.

WHAT IS IT?

The basic parameter is to work within an equilateral triangle that holds a triangle at the top. A template to work within. Other than that… anything goes! We can create a randomizer which takes various pieces from the works and combines them into unique triangles! Another goal would be to create a VR gallery for all works.

SYMBOLISM

As visionary artists, our art holds the potential to provide insight and raise the consciousness of a collective. Throughout history, plenty of symbols have undergone their own metamorphosis and associations. The pyramid  with capstone is one of these age-old symbols. From cosmic mountain, linking matter with spirit to the now all too familiar association of rule, control and hierarchy.

The current arising NFT and crypto phenomenon holds a potential to give power back to the people and create a shared vision where we can all become equal co-creators in the game of life. Therefore consider this is an act of reclaiming the pyramid. Turning it upside down and casting a new positive theme on it. Unleashing our combined creative force onto it. A Fitting motif for visionary artists.

We use the framework of the pyramid / triangle to unshackle ourselves by placing a restriction on the framework, but not on our creativity. A challenge to see what we can come up with, either single or in collabs with each other.

TEMPLATE

It is your creation! Anything goes! well…there are a few guidelines:

  1. If your design lends itself to stepping outside of the pyramid boundary then do so, but try to minimize it to no more than 25%. (example below)
  2. The capstone always stays. Create your unique capstone. It doesn’t have to be a face or eye. Anything goes, but the placement of the capstone stays the same.
  3. Use the correct template. Ideas for backgrounds are welcome! Maybe one global background.. or create your own. Let’s discuss!
  4. Still or animated image. It’s your creation!

PYRAMID INSIGHTS:

  • The pyramid is constricted with a solid square base, supporting 4 triangular sides.
  • Pyramids are ancient towers created in the image of the Cosmic Mountain.
  • The upward pointing triangle represents Fire. In Greek the word ‘Pyramid’ means Fire.
  • They stand as an expression of the universal desire to reunite with heaven.
  • The pyramids themselves became a symbol of Egypt. 
  • The pyramid’s smooth, angled sides symbolised the rays of the sun and were designed to help the king’s soul ascend to heaven and join the gods, particularly the sun god Ra.
  • Ancient Egyptians believed that when the king died, part of his spirit (known as “ka”) remained with his body. To properly care for his spirit, the corpse was mummified, and everything the king would need in the afterlife was buried with him.

  • Together with the ‘Eye of Providence’ it has become associated with freemasonry, illuminati and ‘new world order’ conspiracy theories in popular culture.
